The Aloft Value Proposition

Founded in 2011, Aloft Strategies is a full service communications, event management, and project management firm.  Whether you are looking for a long-term partner or for short term assistance on a specific project, we are here to help you achieve your goals.  Our philosophy is simple - provide excellent service, hard work, creativity, and value.  We operate as a small business and like it that way.  We believe there are a lot of other great small businesses out there that we can partner with to meet your needs for your specific project - but that you don't need to pay for a large shop with lots of overhead when you don't require all those services.  When we have completed the project for you, we want you to walk away feeling good about the quality of work product produced and the value you received for it.  

Our Unique Experience and Background

Aloft Owner and Principal, Sean White, brings a unique set of skills and experiences to the table to take your business to the next level.  Sean's background is a rare mix of government relations, communications, project management, and event planning.  Read more about Sean's background here and Aloft's previous experiences here.  We believe that this mix can add significant value to your business and allow you to achieve greater results than you would be hiring someone with a more targeted background.  Additionally, we think we do some things that others don't:

  • We do both strategy and implementation - we can focus on the details and at the same time, keep the big picture in mind
  • We are resourceful and creative - with a broad background and a resourceful attitude, we get things done quickly, the way you need it done, and at a fraction of the cost
  • We don't mind getting our hands dirty - some folks will subcontract out the dirty work, we just go get it done
  • We collaborate - when we can't do something the way you need it done, we work with the best in the business (often other small businesses) to get you the best product at the right price
What "Kind" of Work Do We Do?

Some folks ask, "What kind of work do you do?"  Our answer is just about anything, but we do have a few areas we think we add some extra value due to our background, expertise, and personal areas of interest.  Those areas include:

Aloft Pricing

Our pricing is customized per job depending on a number of factors including time requirement, outside vendors, travel requirements, reimbursements, etc.  A few things we can tell you though:

  • You can rest assured you are going to get a lot more for your money than you would with one of the "big guys" - you aren't paying overhead for a fancy office, accountants, lawyers, CEOs, secretaries, and people who aren't working on your account.  You're just paying for the work.
  • We don't mark up any outside expenses or vendors - you pay what we pay
  • Once we agree to a price - as long as the scope of work doesn't change significantly - that's what you are paying.  If it takes us longer to do the work than we planned, that's our fault, not yours
 
Our approach is simple, we believe if we provide you with a great product at an exceptional value - you'll come back and you'll tell others.
